Women Deacons? I don't think so!

Today's big news is that Pope Francis is putting together a commission to study the feasibility of ordaining women to the diaconate. THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE!

Click here to read the SSPX USA article explaining why this is not possible.

Since Jesus Christ only chose men to be his successors, only men can be ordained. Period.

The Early Church deaconess was actually the deacon's wife. Married permanent deacons are married to deaconesses. The deaconess were a forerunner to the nuns, where they helped the sick and poor women. They were never ordained nor served at the altar.

Thank God Benedict XVI is still alive.

Do not support any clergy who support the ordination of women!
