Why I might not achieve my goal...

This past Sunday I got a hold of the flyer advertising the 2016 "Catholic" Appeal for the Archdiocese of Boston, and that next weekend (March 5-6) will be "Commitment Weekend", where parishioners will be asked to make their pledge to support the annual fundraiser. Unlike previous years, the flyer was printed in both English and Spanish. The front cover shows Cardinal Sean saying the Novus Ordo Cookie with several young adults kneeling at the cookie table.

Inside the flyer states under the headline of "Tribunal Ministry":
Offering healing and closure for those seeking annulments through a more simplified process recently decreed by our Holy Father.
Yes, that's right. The Archdiocese actually will embrace "Catholic Divorce" even more with your donations. And if Sean will preside over most hearings, then he will grant an annulment every time. Any Catholic couple who gets a civil divorce will get an annulment from Sean. No justice here.

Another factor is if a couple marries with the Tridentine Mass and for some stupid reason they get divorced. If they petition Boston's Metropolitan Tribunal, they will get an annulment based on "defect of form." No justice here.

Finally, these reasons could be direct reasons why I might not achieve my goal of finding my Catholic wife. Open to seeing a Novus Ordo female who wishes to switch now might never learn the full grasp of Catholic Tradition quick enough. Another consideration is that a young woman who attends the TLM at an "approved" location (like myself) now may be open to birth control because of Pope Francis. Anyone who mildly supports or admires Francis is not going to be a good fit, regardless of which liturgy they regularly attend.

Specifically, in the Archdiocese of Boston under Sean, the parish priest no longer has the final say on the booking of a wedding in his parish. (This was discovered in an insert last year.) Couples who wish to marry in a parish church in this Archdiocese will not only have to wait for the Metropolitan Tribunal to approve your application, but will be sent to an unorthodox Pre-Cana program with cohabitation and condoms to boot.

In order to guarantee a fully-Catholic wedding in Boston, you will have to have a visiting priest (perhaps of the SSPX) say your Nuptial Mass at a neutral site. This would be canonically correct under supplied jurisdiction to avoid heresy. Many women won't want to hear this, but this is the sad reality up here.

For the record, if you support contraception, I'm not your guy.

If you are sympathetic to the left, I'm not your guy.

If you support "marriage equality", I'm not your guy.

If you want to make some exceptions to justify killing a baby in the womb, then I'm not your guy.

If you don't want to go to the Traditional Latin Mass from this day forward, then I'm definitely not your guy.
