Ireland rejects Catholicism, voters approve gay marriage by landslide

The Emerald Isle and the Rainbow now officially stand for Sodom and Gomorrah. They have rejected Saint Patrick as their patron. They have rejected Jesus Christ and His teachings.

Irish voters have decided in a landslide that gays should have the right to marry. This is the first of its kind anywhere in the world.

The main reason why this little rural island of 4 million people voted yes because the Catholic bishops in Ireland rejected their flock. Ireland is ground zero for the sex abuse scandal in Europe; pretty much all of the priests are gay.

Everyone living outside of Ireland with Irish ancestry should be ashamed of the majority of their countrymen, who decided that Saint Patrick is a mythical character out of a comic book and not a Catholic saint.

So in conclusion, it is really the clergy of Ireland who are responsible for the results, not necessary the uninformed laymen.

SHOCKING: TLC pulls "19 Kids" after Josh Duggar alleged of sexual assault as juvenile

TLC has pulled 19 Kids and Counting off the air after the oldest Duggar son, Joshua (27), has been alleged to have sexually touched someone while he was 14. Duggar has also resigned from his job at the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C. (News story)

Such a story is shocking since it is from an unlikely suspect. The Duggars are America's largest family, where Jim Bob and Michelle have nineteen natural born single-birth children (no multiples or adoptees). As conservative Baptists, the Duggars homeschool their children and have "Bible Time" as bedtime story time. The Duggar girls are not allowed to hug their husbands heart-to-heart until they are engaged to their boyfriends, and are not allowed to kiss until they are married.

God blessed this family with nineteen children and they did not kill any of them. They had all nineteen on His terms and not the terms of Jim Bob and Michelle.

People often think that because you only have less than four children you are using birth control. There are several married couples out there who are struggling just to conceive a baby. Not being on the Pill doesn't guarantee several children, either.

I will miss this show on TV. This family could have been a great Catholic convert family if it weren't for Pope Francis.

Beware of Fr. Paul Nicholson

Everyone reading traditional Catholic blogs over the past few weeks has probably heard about Fr. Paul Nicholson basting Fr. Gruner shortly after his death for being a schismatic priest because Bishop Fellay, Superior General of the SSPX, said his Requiem Mass held at "Scotiabank Cathedral." (I assume because no bishop in Ontario would allow Father's Requiem with his casket in one of their churches, a neutral site was chosen; priests are supposed to have their Requiems said by their bishops, but Father's canonical incardination bishop is...I believe Bishop Fellay was the only one who could do it on such a short notice.)

Well apparently, Louie Verrecchio has discovered that Fr. Nicholson and Saint Michael's Media, the parent company of ChurchMilitant.com (new address), for whom he spiritually advises the staff, is connected with Opus Dei and has done other shady business. (For more on Opus Dei, please read this article.)

This explains Father's crazy behavior and why Michael Voris and Co. will not criticize the Pope when he does something un-Catholic.

While watching Voris' videos over the years have partial responsibility of me becoming a Traditionalist Catholic, it took material from Angelus Press (the US printing house of the SSPX) to understand the crises in the Church and why you cannot attend the New Mass.

Because Opus Dei is an ecclesiastical cult within the Catholic Church, I would never join it.

To that end, I will no longer be posting any more Vortices on this site, regardless of topic or local interest, until the CMTV staff smarten up and disassociate themselves with Fr. Nicholson.

Bishop McManus confirms 70

On Saturday, April 25th, the Feast of Saint Mark, His Excellency, the Most Rev. Robert J. McManus, Bishop of Worcester, confirmed 70 members of the faithful at Saint John's Church in Clinton, Mass. The Bishop presided over Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament after Confirmation. The Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary from the Saint Benedict Center in Still River sang in the schola. (Click here for photos)

This is the same Bishop McManus who has refused to say the Latin Mass nor allowed its usage in the City of Worcester during his tenure thus far.
