Scott Lively for Governor

Rarely you see a candidate for constitutional office these days who puts his trust in HIM. Rarely you'll see someone who has a plan to fight the Devil as Saint Michael (his feast today!) does. Even though he is Protestant, this minister has earned my vote on November 4th. I highly recommend all Massachusetts voters to elect Dr. Scott Lively as our next Governor on Election Day.

Scott is the only candidate who recognizes that our nation and our Commonwealth were founded on Judeo-Christian principles. He realizes that the two party system isn't working. He is the only candidate who supports ending abortion and same-sex marriage in the Commonwealth. He is also the only one who respects the rights of parents as primary educators and would officially tolerate parents who choose to homeschool or send the kids to another school besides their geographical district. He also supports helping inner-city persons currently on welfare to start businesses.

As a Catholic citizen, I am grateful that Massachusetts has a gubenatorial candidate who supports the Catholic teaching on abortion and homosexuality; AND HE'S NOT EVEN CATHOLIC!!! Baptized Cradle Catholic Martha Coakley has a long rap sheet when it comes to supporting Saint Michael's opponent, and is still allowed to receive the Novus Ordo Cookie courtesy of the Commonwealth's do-nothing bishops. Who knows what Charlie Baker believes. Evan Falchuk and Jeff McCormick are billionaires who are dreamers.

We are in dark times. I don't care which party you belong to (if at all), but I encourage all Massachusetts voters to choose common sense over corrupt politicians. Please join me in voting for Scott Lively.

Statement not the responsibility of the candidate nor his committee.

New SSPX U.S. District Superior asks for Novena to Defend the Family

Fr. Jurgen Wegner, SSPX, the U.S. District Superior, has asked all priests to pray a novena from September 29th to October 7th to defend family values. Dominican (15-decade) Rosary is recommended. (Click here for full details).

Statement on appointment of new Archbishop of Chicago

Bishop Blaise J. Cupich of Spokane, Washington was appointed the new Archbishop of Chicago this past Saturday. This is not good news.

Bishop Cupich is very soft on abortion and liturgical abuses. While serving in Rapid City, SD he locked-out the Latin Mass community there from celebrating the Easter Triduum. He also discourages people standing outside abortion clinics praying the Rosary.

Chicago has more traditional parishes then any other major archdiocese in the United States. They are now in de facto jeopardy with this appointment. Chicago will go back to the Bernadin era shortly.

As one of the largest archdioceses in the USA, the Chicago archbishop does have influence over the whole ecclesial body politic. Since Vatican II the major American archdioceses are the ones with the most unfaithful bishops. This explains why Cardinal Sean in Boston, "Bravo" Cardinal Dolan in NYC, Cardinal Wuerl in DC, Archbishop Chaput in Philadelphia, and Cardinal DiNardo in Houston, all bishops against Sacred Tradition (to name a few), have jobs in their respective places.

While the Pope is not infallible in appointing bishops, it always seems that the major archdioceses are always bound for a liberal bishop. In order to get a traditionalist bishop we have to stick together and co-sign a letter to the Holy Father personally.

This brings us to another candidate who was slighted by the Congregation of Bishops: Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Perry. Bishop Perry celebrates Pontifical High Masses and is totally in favor of Sacred Tradition. It is certain that he was slighted for his adherence to Tradition. He better not have been passed because he is an African American.

BREAKING NEWS: Cardinal Burke to be demoted

Rorate Caeli is reporting from reliable sources that His Eminence, Raymond Cardinal Burke, is about to be removed from his position as Prefect of the Apostolic Signatura. With the upcoming Synod and His Eminence's defense of Catholic Tradition, I don't find this as any surprise under the current status of the Vatican.

I would not be surprised that Cardinal Burke will show up at the SSPX chapel near you in the near future. Besides, he is today's Archbishop Lefebvre: a bishop who was faithful to Eternal Rome and the principals who ran Rome insisted for pre-Christian pagan Imperial Rome.

His Eminence was removed from Saint Louis because of his defense of Tradition. In 2004, he was the only bishop in the United States to excommunicate then-Presidential Candidate John Kerry for his support of a woman's right to choose. He was one of the few bishops around who would enforce Canon 915, which bans sinners from receiving Holy Communion.

A visit with a Doctor of the Church

On Sunday, September 14th, the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, I had the honor and privilege of visiting the first class relic of Saint Anthony of Padua, on tour at Saint Anthony's Maronite Catholic Church in Springfield, Massachusetts. The relic, which is the original one kept at the Basilica at Padua, was displayed for a week at this parish.

I also attended the Maronite Mass for the first time ever as it fulfilled my Sunday obligation. The service was conducted in English and Arabic and derives from the liturgy at Antioch, the first diocese Saint Peter established before Rome. It was founded by Saint Maron, a Lebanese priest and monk in the 5th century.

The Mass was a Pontifical Mass concelebrated with three other priests. The cope is worn by the priest instead of the chasuble. The archdeacon (who preached the Gospel and sermon at this Mass) wears a dalmatic with a stole on the left shoulder only straight down. The other deacons wear the stole directly down without crossing it as in the Roman rite.

The words of consecration are sung in Arabic, and Holy Communion is given in incintion: the host is dipped into a small cup of wine in the ciborium before be placed on the tongue. The service does not call for kneeling, as there were no kneelers in the church.

At the end of the Mass, the two priests from Padua who are the custodians of the touring relic presented a muscle of Saint Anthony to the parish for permanent display. It is a first class relic as well.

I photographed and touched the relic before Mass, and prayed for miracles.

At least one of my relatives will not marry in the Church in the future

This should put the icing on the cake. My little sister announced to the world that she and her supposedly "Catholic" boyfriend "are not practicing Catholics" and will not marry in the Church if they get engaged.

To me this is no surprise, but is somewhat to my parents, who aren't saints either. She claims she is going to marry somewhere anyplace but a church. This is the same sister who lied to a priest that she was a practicing Catholic so she could sponsor her cousin for confirmation. She doesn't practice her faith, but she thinks it's okay to receive Holy Communion without confessing her numerous sins.

The reason why I started this blog is to find a Catholic girl to become my wife without spending money I don't have for online dating sites that are not guaranteed. This particular posts shows that I am the only practicing Catholic in my family.

If I do have children in the future, they will be Catholic, no excuses. At least my sister will not be a godparent.

So much for the Novus Ordo Church.

Nothing to be thankful for Novus Ordo priests

Nothing to be thankful
September 5th's "Catholic" Free Press has a front page article about an upcoming event to "thank priests" called "Celebrate Priesthood!" This event is a fundraiser for the Clergy Fund for the Diocese of Worcester and a way to thank Worcester's priests for their service. The October 14th gala at Mechanics Hall costs $100 per plate.

The irony here is that there is nothing to be thankful for the priests of the Diocese of Worcester. Except for one priest who says the Tridentine Mass in the boondocks, none of them who are in active ministry and those who are retired in recent memory are not worthy of a thank you card.

Like the Archdiocese of Boston, the bordering Worcester Diocese has ordained homosexual child molesters for the past fifty years or so. As a matter of fact, Worcester was one of the first dioceses in the world to mandate the Novus Ordo Mass before Vatican II ended under the liberal Bishop Bernard Flanagan. The successing bishops have followed suit. Now, it is running under women's lib theology.

There is nothing good the Novus Ordo Church offers. Say no thanks to this event and send the $100 to a traditionalist cause instead if you planned on going.

Msgr. Pope's anti-parade post removed from his diocesan website

Back in March I wrote a post stating that the idea of the Saint Patrick's Day Parade should be abolished because March 17th always falls during Lent. Once the news that Cardinal Dolan has accepted to be the Grand Marshall in the NYC 2015 parade and that the organizers (the Ancient Order of Hibernians) will accept openly-gay marchers with the Cardinal's blessing, traditional priest Msgr. Charles Pope wrote on the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C. blog in favor of cancelling the parade and the Al Smith Dinner. (The post was removed because his bishop is Donna Wuerl; it was saved and archived by Life Site News.)

Thank you Monsignor for calling for the observance of Lent on March 17th instead of partying.
