State rep's race shows Bishops' do-nothing attitude

In the race for the 16th Worcester District State Representative (MA), two dissident Catholics are running in the Democratic primary (there are no other candidates), incumbent Rep. Dan Donohue and challenger Josh Perro. Both are Catholics in their twenties who were educated in the Catholic school system. Buyer Beware: no Catholic can actually vote for them.

Rep. Donohue voted for the new buffer-zone law in defiance of the U.S. Supreme Court and is regarded highly by Planned Parenthood. Mr. Perro, on the other hand, self-identifies in his campaign flyers that he is gay, "an active member of St. Stephen's Parrish (sic)", and a Knight of Columbus. He too is pro-choice.

The reason why these men are still allowed to receive the Novus Ordo Cookie because the Bishops of Worcester have never excommunicated people like them. The Bishops have also allowed heretics to teach against Catholicism in the parochial school system.

You and I could try writing to Bishop McManus asking that he take action against these politicians, but in all likelihood nothing in favor of Sacred Tradition will happen. If you want to, be my guest. If I send another letter to the Chancery, the party's over in their eyes.

These two men are poor souls who were never properly educated in theology in "Catholic" schools. Pray for them. Pray for an "in-house" conversion just like me.
