Cardinals don't care about Catholicism

This video pretty much sums it up: the scandals of Cardinal DiNardo of Houston allowing a United Methodist ordination of women "priests" in his cathedral, and the most recent incident of Cardinal O'Malley of Boston receiving the blessing from the United Methodist minister:

Good news and bad news

I have some good news and some bad news to report:

First, I am happy to say that Fisher More College has been saved, as they raised well-beyond their fundraising goal to stay open.

Up in the Boston Archdiocese, the DIM Phase Two clusters have been announced, and Mary Immaculate of Lourdes in Newton, the only diocesan parish to offer the Traditional Latin Mass daily, was not on the list. But don't hold your breath. This doesn't mean that it won't be closed in the immediate future as long as Cardinal O'Malley is still around. So you need to stick to the Rosary Crusade to avert the whole entire DIM process to begin with.

Speaking of Cardinal O'Malley, he is boasting and bragging about the United Methodist service he recently attended, and received a blessing from the minister. (Click link for BCI article)

As Faithful Catholics, such behavior by a prince of the Church cannot be tolerated. This shows that His Eminence doesn't care about his office as Archbishop of Boston and his duties to teach, govern, and sanctify the Archdiocese. What disturbs me et al. is that he did this on a Sunday. Instead of offering a Pontifical High Mass in his cathedral on Sunday morning (which he never does anyway), he walks off to the United Methodist Church and commits a heretical act by receiving a blessing from the minister.

This is why Boston is in dire need of a new archbishop. I can't emphasize this enough. Do us all a favor Your Eminence: Resign and make way for someone who will actually do his job as described by God.

URGENT: Donate to Save Fisher More College in Ft. Worth, Texas

The student body of the College of Saints John Fisher and Thomas More in Fort Worth, Texas need your help! They are in the process of losing their school before the Spring semester is scheduled to begin!

Fisher More College is the only accredited 4-year Catholic college in the United States today that exclusively offers the Traditional Latin Mass on campus daily. The tuition is only $10,000 per year, which covers everything. They do not accept Federal funding nor participate in the Federal Student Loan programs because they would have to surrender their own Catholic identity under the evil Obama administration rules.

Because of this, and the fact they have been in business for only three years, the school solely relies on donations so Catholic students who cannot afford the $10,000 per year tuition can receive scholarships. But you can help save the school!

Click here for the Go Fund Me page started by the students to make a pledge. (You will only be charged if they make their $250,000 goal by January 15th.) These kids' education are on the line. No gift is too small. I pledged $25 that I don't have. Please save the only fully-Catholic school in the nation today.

Pope issues new rules on naming monsignori

Rorate Caeli has confirmed that the Holy Father has issued new protocol on naming monsignors.

First of all, anyone who currently holds the title of Monsignor will not lose their title. The new rules now require that a priest be 65 years old and a diocesan priest. Members of religious orders are no longer eligible.

Above is the cassock a monsignor is supposed to wear. It is just a black cassock with purple trim and a purple fascia. The biretta (not shown) is black with a purple pom. It is exactly the same as a bishop's house cassock except that no shoulder cover and pectoral cross are worn.

Where I live, there are too many monsignors who don't even practice the Catholic Faith! Most sit on the their rear ends in pant suits and don't care about the salvation of souls. They don't even deserve the title!
