Francis bans TLM for a namesake religious order

Rorate Caeli is reporting that the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate have been told by Pope Francis to stop offering the Traditional Latin Mass in favor of the Novus Ordo Cookie, or lose their canonical establishment as a religious order.

Such an action is illegal for the Pope to perform because the Traditional Latin Mass is a dogma of the Church according to the Council of Trent, as upheld in Quo Primum Tempore, and obligatory by the foresaid.

This document comes days after the end of the Catholic Woodstock (WYD), where we saw a Novus Ordo Papal Mass on the beach and 300 bishops dancing to Protestant praise and worship music (indcluding Cardinal Dolan).

Such actions above are not Christian-like.

Such actions are going to pressure the SSPX to accept these Friars as members (the ones who wish to hold onto Tradition), and possibly open new chapels to fill the void lost from such a pathetic document.

For the past 50 years, such persecution has been the norm at the hands of homosexual clergy, as the Pope also said that homosexual priests "should not be judged."

Such actions tell us that all the U.S. Cardinals (accept Burke) voted for Bergoglio in the conclave. Dolan, O'Malley, Wuerl, Mahony, DiNardo, Harvey, and O'Brien are not in favor of Tradition, while Cardinal George in Chicago has been somewhat supportive. This wonders or not the conclave was rigged just like 1958?

Coming into 5 months of a papacy, it is still too early yet determine...but if the TLM has any more Vatican sanctions, then Bishop Fellay will have to consecrate at least 8 more bishops to ensure that the Sacraments are persevered.

3rd anniversary of this blog

Today marks the third anniversary of my first blog post on Catholic Traditional Looking for Wife. To date, over 27,000 people globally have viewed my blog, for which I am very grateful.

While I have not found the Catholic sweetheart yet, I hope it is not too far off. Since I am three years older than when I first started this blog, there is a sense of urgency. While there  are fellow classmates in my architecture degree program like me who are married and single alike, that does not excuse me, the Catholic, from leaving this issue alone. Since I am not pursuing a priestly vocation (nor am I priestly material), the other alternative is for the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony.

While conducting a blog like this may seem crazy to some, I believe it is the only free alternative way to find a date.

St. Anne, grandmother of Our Lord Jesus Christ, pray for us.

Hall of Shame; Boston Catholic school supt. resigns!

I am very happy to relay from the Boston Catholic Insider on the Feast of St. Mary Magdelene that Dr. Mary Grassa O'Neill, the Catholic Schools Superintendent and the grossly-highest-paid archdiocesan lay employee at $350k per year, has RESIGNED!!! ALLELUIA!!!

Also, the tenth anniversary of Cardinal Sean becoming Archbishop of Boston is on July 30th, and I would like to induct some people onto the 2013 RCAB Wall of Shame

As you can see, I have Dr. O'Neill covered with the word "Resigned!", something I added just now when I learned that she is stepping down. I hope to update this with other "resigned" or "fired" signs in the near future, as all of these people don't deserve to be working for Christ and His Church after destroying it locally in recent years.

While Dr. O'Neill wanted to implement Common Core in the Catholic Schools, it is still quite possible a new superintendent could promote the same thing, especially if Cardinal Sean is doing the hiring. But in either case, a new superintendent should not make more than $100,000 per year. Ultimately, a new archbishop will be necessary in order to guarantee orthodoxy.

Another Ecumenical Council???

Will there be or should another Ecumenical Council be called? My response right now is "no." I don't believe that calling another council is necessary because I believe pulling bishops from their dioceses for long-term periods will weaken the Church at this time.

Bishops are supposed to be governing their own dioceses and not supposed to leave their dioceses without permission from the Holy See, according to the Council of Trent. Then you have the error of collegiality, where national bishops' conferences think that they are either above the Holy See (as the case with Dolanism) or an intermediary between the diocesan bishop and the Holy See.

All that is necessary right now is that the Traditional Latin Mass and Sacraments be restored in every parish, and said by every priest, bishop, cardinal, and the Pope. If these traditions are universal as it where prior to Vatican II, then the Church would not have had the problems it occurs today. But until that happens, all we must do is pray.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel, pray for us!

Another Latin Mass basher

Tracey Rowland on "Three Barriers to the Latin Mass":

RESPONSE: This video is just a piece of junk issued by a feminist theologian who rips the Traditional Latin Mass whenever she attends. Based on those comments, she doesn't exclusively attend.

Also, what is wrong with dressing modestly? Many traditional parishes have dress codes to uphold the dignity of the Most Blessed Sacrament, Our Lord of Lords and King of Kings.

If you are a Catholic of the Latin Rite, you are bound to attend this Mass, the same Mass said by Jesus Christ, the same Mass said by Saints Peter and Paul, the same Mass said by the Early Church Fathers, the same Mass said by Pope St. Victor the Great, the same Mass said by St. Augustine, St. Pius the Great (I), St. Gregory the Great, Venerable Bede, St. Boniface, Thomas Aquinas, St. Dominic, St. Anslem, and St. Pius V, the Pope who canonized the Mass on this day in the Year of Our Lord 1570 by issuing Quo Primum Tempore and De Defectibus

It is time to pack up and leave the "Church of Nice"

If you have any family or friends that are members of the Church of Nice that is run by Dolan, then it time for them to leave. I will not marry anyone from the Church of Nice because it is not Catholic:

First Saintly Popes since Pius X

You read it right: Pope Francis has approved the canonization of Popes John XXIII and John Paul II. While John did not live to see the end of Vatican II and the destruction of the Mass, John Paul ended communism in Eastern Europe, and was partly responsible for the Fall of the Berlin Wall.

Many traditionalists are not going to agree with this because John Paul never said the Traditional Latin Mass publicly as Supreme Pontiff, and presided over two interfaith Assisi meetings. It is also interesting that the second miracle was waived by the Holy Father for John XXIII, who died fifty years ago during Vatican II. But nearly everyone canonized John Paul II as soon as he passed away in 2005!

Since St. John Paul's process was jumpstarted too soon, Fr. Patrick de La Rocque, SSPX, documents the process in Pope John Paul II: Doubts About a Beautification, and explains why this was mistakenly done. (I have never read the book, so I am basing this on promos from the publisher, Angelus Press.)

Whether or not you agree with this or not, they are now Saints. As of this posting no date has been announced for the canonization ceremony, both of these Saints have been venerated liturgically 11 days apart for the past two years.  St. John XXIII is commemorated on October 11, the Feast of the Maternity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. St. John Paul's feast day is currently observed on October 22.

(Please note since these are new saints, these feast dates, although written in the Novus Ordo missal, are applicable to the 1962 Missal, since they were never transferred after Vatican II to begin with. The Mass would be Common of Saints I: Common of One or Several Holy Popes, with each their own collect.)

Happy 4th of July!

Just wishing everyone a Happy Independence Day. Please pray for our nation and that I find the patriotic Catholic girlfriend soon! God Bless America.
