Archdiocese of Boston offering yoga classes at chancery

The Boston Catholic Insider is reporting that the archdiocese is offering yoga classes at the "Pastoral Center" on Tuesday nights for $10 per lesson per person. (Read the article here

Anyone with a brain should know that yoga is a Hindu practice, whereas Hinduism is a polytheistic religion, which worships many gods. Catholicism worships ONE GOD in three persons: God the Father, His Son Our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost (a.k.a. The Most Holy Trinity). Abraham, our Father in Faith, was told to worship only one God as opposed to many gods paganism provides. He obeyed, and founded Judaism, the forerunner religion for Christianity.

Since this is a very serious sin, with the blessing of the Cardinal and his vicar general, I am really considering writing a letter to Pope Benedict XVI to ask him to clean house in Boston, and most definitely surpress the Worcester Diocese as there are almost no parishes left there. If you live in Eastern or Central Massachusetts, and if you are fed up with what's been happening recently, then you should write a letter to the Holy Father with a cc to Archbishop Vigano, the nuncio for the USA. The more individual letters, the better. But, this should not replace the Real Catholic TV petition on my sidebar, so sign that if you have not already done so.

Apparently, the chancery is not alone in the Boston area. I have also found out that South Boston Catholic Academy and St. John's School in Boston offer yoga as an extracurricular activity. Catholic Medical Center offers discounts to yoga classes as part of a wellness program for employee heath insurance. Also, to make matters worse, but I'm not surprised, Boston College has a doctoral candidate who is a certified yoga instructor! Just read her CV and see what she has been up to!

All this despite a Vatican exorcist saying that "Harry Potter and yoga are evil."

Anyhow, here are the Pope's and the Nunciature's address:

His Holiness
Pope Benedict XVI
Apostolic Palace
00120 Vatican City

(Please do not write "Italy" since the Vatican is independent and this may be confusing to the post office.)

His Excellency
The Most Reverend Carlo Maria Vigano
Apostolic Nuncio to the United States of America
Apostolic Nunciature
3339 Massachusetts Avenue N.W.
Washington, D.C. 20008
