Holy Week 2012

This Holy Week will be off to a bad start for me since I am recovering from symptoms from vaccinations that I received from my doctor on Wednesday, and will not be able to attend Mass  on Sunday. (I'm doing better, but still pray that I get better for Easter.)

Things just seem to get worse for the overall Catholic field in Massachusetts, and because of that, I recently wrote a letter to the Pope that I promised to write a few weeks ago, and I am sharing it with you below:
Letter to the Pope 24 March 2012

Please note that this letter alone will most likely solve the problems, but if you write something similar, then it will show the Vatican that we are not faking it.

BREAKING NEWS: Kennedy invite revoked (updated)

Anna Maria College, a supposedly "Catholic" college in Paxton, Massachusetts, has revoked the invitation of Mrs. Ted Kennedy as commencement speaker at this year's graduation after Bishop McManus complained about it. (Read news article here)

The commencement ceremony, which will be held at the Hanover Theatre in Worcester, is the same place that Mrs. Kennedy spoke for a parish food pantry. (See my July 8, 2011 post for more info)

While the Bishop disapproves of her speaking at a college graduation, why didn't he complain about her speaking at the SJ's Food for the Poor fundraiser?

With these inconsistencies, both SJ's and Anna Maria College do not conform to the Magisterium of the Church. Both refuse to offer the Traditional Latin Mass and Sacraments first and foremost, but Anna Maria is worse. Anna Maria has built an inter-demoniational chapel on campus, and promotes ecumenism. The same goes for Holy Cross and Assumption, where they don't require Mass attendence either.

No more Girl Scout cookies

Recently, the Archdiocese of Boston had a Novus Ordo Mass commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts of the United States, which included feminist ideas such as scouts as altar girls, lectors, and eucharistic ministers. As you can see in the photo album, non of the girls are wearing headcoverings in church, not even the beret that used to be a requirement of the Girl Scout uniform. Cardinal Sean was celebrant.

All this despite the fact that the Girl Scouts are anti-Catholic because they support Planned Parenthood, which caused a Girl Scout from California to post a now-removed Youtube video not to buy the cookies (because another troop allowed a transgender kid) and a Catholic parish in Virginia evicted the Girl Scouts from meeting in the parish school.

An Alternative to Girl Scouts

Would you have your daughter
as one of these American Heritage Girls?
I would if I had a daughter.
As you can guess from the above introduction, the Girl Scouts are not what a Catholic (or even a Christian) girl needs, since they teach young women about sex education, something that is only obtainable from the parents of the child. And because they are not your grandmother's Girl Scouts, I would strongly remove your daughters from Girl Scouts altogether and enroll them in something more compatible toward the Christian soul.

The most popular alternative scouting-styled organization for girls ages 5-17 is the American Heritage Girls, "a nonprofit organization dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country" (website).

The AHG was founded in 1995 by former Girl Scout parents in the Cincinnati area who thought that the GSA was more like standing for "Gay-Straight Alliance." In another words, the organization became too liberal back then, and they happen to be worse off now, and nobody new about it until Obamacare was passed.

So, the AHG is Christianized, whereas, you must believe in the Holy Trinity to join the organization or volunteer as an adult leader. They have merit badges, a uniform, and teach flag etiquette and patriotism just like a nurse in the armed forces would.

The organization accepts girls of any Christian demomination, and even has the endorsement of recently-retired Bishop Thomas Doran of Rockford, Illinois.

New archbishop for Baltimore

Pope Benedict XVI has appointed Bishop William E. Lori of Bridgeport, CT to be new Archbishop of Baltimore yesterday. Installation is set for May 16th. (Read article here)

This is a good choice since Bishop Lori is every vocal on repealing Obamacare.

The Holy Father also named two other US bishops and the new Montreal archbishop yesterday.

I am also working on a letter to the Pope to have Cardinal Sean in Boston removed for obvious reasons that should be no surprise to any of us by now.

St. Joseph's Day (March 19)

Today is St. Joseph's Day, the patron of the Universal Church. This day is more important than  St. Patrick's Day because Joseph is the foster father of Our Lord and the spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Together, with the Baby Jesus, they make the Holy Family. Every family should be like the Holy Family.

Also, I have added today's Vortex on my "About me" page, where Michael Voris tells the world that the Holy Father is very upset with the sexual immorality in today's America, and that most American bishops have done nothing to stop this lewdness. Please read my bio and watch the video embedded there by clicking here

Archdiocese of Boston offering yoga classes at chancery

The Boston Catholic Insider is reporting that the archdiocese is offering yoga classes at the "Pastoral Center" on Tuesday nights for $10 per lesson per person. (Read the article here

Anyone with a brain should know that yoga is a Hindu practice, whereas Hinduism is a polytheistic religion, which worships many gods. Catholicism worships ONE GOD in three persons: God the Father, His Son Our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost (a.k.a. The Most Holy Trinity). Abraham, our Father in Faith, was told to worship only one God as opposed to many gods paganism provides. He obeyed, and founded Judaism, the forerunner religion for Christianity.

Since this is a very serious sin, with the blessing of the Cardinal and his vicar general, I am really considering writing a letter to Pope Benedict XVI to ask him to clean house in Boston, and most definitely surpress the Worcester Diocese as there are almost no parishes left there. If you live in Eastern or Central Massachusetts, and if you are fed up with what's been happening recently, then you should write a letter to the Holy Father with a cc to Archbishop Vigano, the nuncio for the USA. The more individual letters, the better. But, this should not replace the Real Catholic TV petition on my sidebar, so sign that if you have not already done so.

Apparently, the chancery is not alone in the Boston area. I have also found out that South Boston Catholic Academy and St. John's School in Boston offer yoga as an extracurricular activity. Catholic Medical Center offers discounts to yoga classes as part of a wellness program for employee heath insurance. Also, to make matters worse, but I'm not surprised, Boston College has a doctoral candidate who is a certified yoga instructor! Just read her CV and see what she has been up to!

All this despite a Vatican exorcist saying that "Harry Potter and yoga are evil."

Anyhow, here are the Pope's and the Nunciature's address:

His Holiness
Pope Benedict XVI
Apostolic Palace
00120 Vatican City

(Please do not write "Italy" since the Vatican is independent and this may be confusing to the post office.)

His Excellency
The Most Reverend Carlo Maria Vigano
Apostolic Nuncio to the United States of America
Apostolic Nunciature
3339 Massachusetts Avenue N.W.

10,000th visitor

This past Friday (March 9, 2012), Catholic Traditional Looking for Wife had its 10,000th visitor. I would like to thank everyone who has been reading this blog over the past 21 months, and I hope that I will remain in your prayers as my mission is not yet complete. Please use the rest of the Lenten season to reflect on this, and to pray the Sorrowful Mysteries in your Rosaries.

In Nomine Domini Jesu Christi,
